What is the #AATRNC VIP Prom Experience? We will close the store to the public, and the winner and 5 of her friends will have an exclusive appointment with our senior stylists. In addition, her prom dress will be FREE (up to $500 value)! Plus, her friends will work with our senior stylists and receive discounts and fun giveaways.
How do you enter? Attend our annual fashion show. Each high school girl that attends our Fashion Show will receive a raffle ticket. A random drawing will happen during the fashion show. You must be present to win. The prize can not be redeemed for cash and is non-transferable. The winner and her friends agree to have their photos shared on our social media.

A Fashion Show with Purpose
Our annual Runway Extravaganza is focused on making women and young girls feel empowered and beautiful. “Any time you get a young girl on a stage, her confidence goes through the roof. We are raising strong women and showing them examples,” said Kathy Keefe Jensen, owner of An Affair To Remember and producer of the fashion show, “We are out to develop heroes.”
In collaboration with the Women of Power Society of N.C., Center for Economic Development (CEED), a portion of proceeds go to #herPitch, a grant awarded to women in business.

When you look your best, you feel your best. We encourage our runway models to cultivate deep and lasting friendships, give back to their community, and encourage others to do the same! A dress is more than fabric, it’s a way to make a statement to yourself and others that you are worth it!
If you are #AGirlToRemember who purchased a dress (or gift card for future purchase) from An Affair to Remember between January 1, 2024 - December 1, 2024, that was $350 or more; we would love for you to participate in our annual Runway Extravaganza. The Women of Power Society of N.C. is a celebration of women that have demonstrated leadership by contributing to the community through volunteerism, entrepreneurship, or public service.
The Women of Power Society of N.C. is the brainchild of Kathy Keefe Jensen, Owner of An Affair to Remember: Prom, Pageant, and Formal Wear, and Suzy Hrabovsky, Executive Director of NC Center for Economic Development. They decided it was time to bring the Women of Power Alumnae and the women in leadership roles together to celebrate the status of women in our community.
When you nominate a woman of power, and she is selected, she receives an evening gown from An Affair to Remember to walk in the Women of Power segment of our annual Fashion Show, a Woman of Power Gift Bag, and an annual membership to the Women of Power Society of N.C.
