VOLUNTEERS
Register Below If You Are Interested in Volunteering For Future Fashion Shows
Professional and fashion-focused volunteers are needed for our AATRNC Runway Extravaganza Team. Be a part of a fast-paced and exciting experience at our annual Fashion Show. We highlight our designers, models, and a new class of Women of Power Society of N.C. members every year. Volunteers should be self-starters who can take the initiative to seek and complete tasks as they are presented throughout the event. Strong communication skills and working well with others are necessary, and volunteer staff must adhere to good conduct and behave appropriately while volunteering.
Front-of-house volunteers are considered "the face" of the AAATRNC Runway Extravaganza Team. Greeters and ushers interact directly with guests and are there to help our other team members and attendees in any way possible. You must present yourself professionally and be knowledgeable of all details of the show and venue to best inform and assist guests. Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, helping with seating setup, assembling giveaways, assisting vendors/sponsors to their booths and helping set up, collecting tickets, seating guests in assigned sections, and any other tasks that require assistance out front before, during, and following the shows.
All volunteers, front and back of the house, must stay until the end of the event unless previously discussed. Upon completion of the event, volunteers will check out with their coordinator to ensure all event closing tasks are completed.
Volunteers must comply with the dress code: provided AATRNC Fashion Show t-shirt, black jeans, and comfortable shoes.
NO mini-skirts, dresses, printed/patterned tops or bottoms, high heels, or flip-flops.
*The directors and staff retain the right to alter these guidelines any time. Any changes will be directly communicated to staff and volunteers via email.
